Lesson #1

Central Truth: Jesus died for my sins.

Main Verse: 1 Peter 2:24 "and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed."

Bonus Verse: Isaiah 53:5 "But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, and by His scourging we are healed."

Lesson #2

Central Truth: Jesus paid for my Sin.

Main Verse: Mark 10:45 "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."

Bonus Verse: Revelation 5:9b "...for You (Jesus) were slain, and purchased for God with Your blood men from every tribe and tongue and nation."

Lesson #3

Central Truth: Jesus took my punishment away.

Main Verse: 1 John 4:10 "In this love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins."

Bonus Verse: Hebrews 9:14 "and not through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, He entered the holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption."

Lesson #4

Central Truth: Jesus made a way for sinners to come to God.

Main Verse: Romans 5:8   “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Bonus Verse: Romans 5:10   “For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.”

Central Truth: Because Jesus was raised from the dead, we can live with Him in Heaven!

Main Verse: 1 Corinthians 15:56-57 “The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Bonus Verse: 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 “For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.”

Lesson #6

Central Truth: Everything we do should honor God.

Main Verse: 1 Corinthians 10:31 “Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”

Bonus Verse: Matthew 5:16 “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.”

Lesson #7

Central Truth: God is active in a Christian’s life, changing them to be more like Jesus.

Main Verse: Philippians 2:13“for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.

Bonus Verse: 2 Corinthians 3:18 “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.”

Lesson #8

Central truth: To be more like Jesus, Christians must run away from temptation.

Main Verse: 1 Thessalonians 5:22 “Abstain from every form of evil.”

Bonus Verse: Hebrews 12:1 “Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.”

Central Truth: Christians do not lose their salvation.

Main Verse: John 10:27-28My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.

Bonus Verse: Philippians 1:6 “For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.”

Lesson #10

Central Truth: God will give Christians perfect bodies in Heaven.

Main Verse: 1 Corinthians 15:52b-53 “and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality.”

Bonus Verse: Philippians 3:20-21a “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory…”

Lesson #11

Central Truth: The God of the Bible is the only true God.

Main Verse: Deuteronomy 6:5“You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.”

Bonus Verse: Isaiah 45:5-6“I am the LORD, and there is no other; besides Me there is no God. I will gird you, though you have not known Me; that men may know from the rising to the setting of the sun that there is no one besides Me. I am the LORD, and there is no other.

Central Truth: God is 3 persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Main Verse: 2 Corinthians 13:14“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.

Central Truth: The eternal God makes His power known by saving sinners.

Main Verse: John 4:24“God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.

Bonus Verse: John 1:18“No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him.”

Central Truth: God is the Creator of the Heavens and the earth.

Main Verse: Genesis 1:1“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”

Bonus Verse: Isaiah 40:28 “Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable.

Central Truth: God is the ruler of all.

Main Verse: Psalm 24:1“The earth is the LORD’S, and all it contains, the world, and those who dwell in it.”
